APRIL FOOLS! Okay, okay - we're sorry. Kind of.
However.. there's no denying it. After you have kids… your nipples change. No one talks about this, but they could develop their own fingerprints. They're able to achieve great things - like feeding a baby while simultaneously cooking dinner. They're magical. And frankly, they deserve a little more appreciation than they get.
So we thought - what if we made a 'product' and fake launched it for April Fools Day. So… we did!
"We wanted mums to feel seen. To laugh. To think, 'Okay, it's not just me.'"
We wanted mums (especially those who've fed a baby) to feel seen. To laugh. To think, "Okay, it's not just me." And maybe, just maybe, to give future mums a gentle heads up about what's coming. If you're not a mum who has breastfed, consider this your warning not to mess with us. Because we could rugby tackle you with the nipples.
Behind the Scenes (aka: chaos)
We laughed so much making this. At one point, there was questionable dancing involved. Les may or may not have been slightly traumatised. The neighbours definitely would've been confused if they'd seen what was going on.
Then there were the props… Let's just say: they arrived… bigger than expected. There was painting involved. Spray paint ran out. Acrylic paint stepped in. The kids were watching like, "What on earth is Mum doing now?"
Funnily enough, I went into my little girl's bedroom this morning and she had somehow found the nipples… and they were just in her bed. She'd been cuddling them. Kids get it. No notes.
Also… a little hint
